Book I - The Eagle & the Wolf - comes out in August.

"HarperFiction is delighted to announce the acquisition of Gordon Doherty’s new Age of Attila series after Commissioning Editor Morgan Springett bought World English Language rights to the first three books from James Wills at Watson, Little. The Eagle & the Wolf will be the first book in the series.

According to the acquisition statement: 'As Hun hordes and Germanic tribes maraud through Roman lands, two legendary men – Attila the Hun and General Flavius Aetius, the "Last of the Romans", find a brotherhood amongst the chaos. The Empire is falling apart, can they salvage what is left before it’s too late? And will their friendship survive the coming storm?

Gordon Doherty is a self-publishing success story whose Legionary series has been read by hundreds of thousands of fans. He lives in Scotland, a stone’s throw from the Antonine Wall, when he’s not on an expedition across Europe looking for ancient ruins.
